Description
Since 1981, the Alberta Recreation Survey is conducted approximately every four years. The purpose of the survey is to find out about the recreation activities of Albertans and what influences their recreation choices. The survey generally covers the following topics: recreation activities, favourite activities, desired activities, reasons for participation or for not participating, perceived benefits of recreation, volunteer involvement, and recreational trends over time.
