Description

In the event of a disaster, the Government of Alberta (GoA) can provide financial assistance to private and public sector applicants through a Disaster Recovery Program (DRP) administered by the Alberta Emergency Management Agency (AEMA). The Alberta Disaster Assistance Guidelines have been developed by the AEMA in collaboration with provincial departments and agencies, as well as federal and non-government partners. The Guidelines support the administration of the province’s DRP, which is designed, developed and delivered to provide financial assistance for uninsurable loss and damage caused by disasters and emergencies.
