Alberta century farm and ranch award : a storied family tradition

Description

Through the Alberta Century Farm and Ranch Award program, the Alberta government recognizes the families who built the foundation of prairie farming and ranching. The program recognizes families for owning and actively operating the same land for 100 years or more. This publication traces the timeline of this awards program, tells some farm family stories, and provides a list of historic documents that can be used by award applicants to support the establishment of their operations.
