Description

Lists the grant allocations to each municipality that receives funding through the Basic Capital Grant, part of the Alberta Cities Transportation Partnership Program. The grant provides financial assistance to Alberta cities (excluding Calgary and Edmonton) to assist in developing and implementing safe and effective roadway network and transportation system within the cities. The grant provides cost-sharing for eligible capital transportation projects within cities, including road construction rehabilitation and major public transit system requirements. In addition, the program includes barrier-free transportation initiatives to improve accessibility for seniors and persons with disabilities.
