Agricultural and Recreational Land Ownership Act

Description

This Act was designed to monitor and control the acquisition of prime agricultural and recreational land (controlled land) by non-Canadians. However, the Act does not discourage non-Canadian investors who wish to come to Alberta to invest in or to build new manufacturing plants, processing operations, recreational developments or home subdivisions, or to expand existing developments.
