Alberta aquatic invasive species early detection rapid response plan

Description

The plan provides a consistent framework to guide response actions needed to detect, assess and respond to an aquatic invasive species introduction anywhere in Alberta. It identifies the roles and responsibilities of different levels of government and stakeholders and how they may be involved in a rapid response including monitoring, detection, containment, and treatment procedures. The plan also identifies relevant legislation and authorities as it applies to potential jurisdiction and inter-jurisdictional response scenarios.
