This report summarizes the status and gaps of Alberta’s forest genetic resources archived in gene and clone banks administered by the Government of Alberta under the auspices of the Alberta Tree Improvement and Seed Centre over the past 40 years. Reporting publicly provides Albertans and interested agencies a snapshot of Alberta’s achievements.
