Description

Three separate public land use zones within the Coal Branch Integrated Resource Plan area were designated in May 1999 to manage access and add greater protection to sensitive areas (including reclaimed mine sites) and key wildlife habitat in the region. This map highlights designated access and identifies the boundaries of the Coal Branch PLUZ, the Athabasca Ranch PLUZ, and the Brule Lake PLUZ.
