Survey of the Lepidoptera of Dinosaur Provincial Park

Description

Alberta Lepidoptera Inventories are initiated by both the Alberta Government and members of the Alberta Lepidopterist Guild (ALG) who are working together to document all species found in Alberta’s Parks and Protected Areas. Resulting species lists are used by personnel in resource management planning. This report summaries all species that have been documented in Dinosaur Provincial Park. A total of 17 families and 267 species were collected in the park, including 16 three that have a provincial Species Conservation Rank of S1 and 13 that have a rank of S2.
