Whirling disease

Description

Whirling disease, a disease of salmonoid fishes, has recently found in Alberta. This disease can cause high levels of mortality in some fish, but it is not known how it will impact Alberta fish populations. This fact sheet presents information about the disease and the Alberta's response to its appearance in the province.
