International review of non-attainment area air quality management tools and techniques

Description

This report presents a jurisdictional review of regulatory strategies and tools used to manage and improve air quality in “non-attainment” areas, which are geographic areas where air quality has been identified as exceeding (or close to exceeding) established air quality goals or standards. Recommendations for potential improvements to non-attainment area air quality management mechanisms in Alberta are also presented.
