Assessing factors affecting cattle use of montane rangelands : Bob Creek project, 2004-2006

Description

Alberta rangelands account for approximately eight million acres and provide forage for about 14 per cent of the beef cattle produced in the province (ESRD 2012). Rangelands provide many benefits; they safeguard watersheds, provide habitat and forage for wildlife, re storehouses of biodiversity, and offer a broad range of ecological goods and services.To provide these benefits they must be maintained in a healthy state.
