Park Lake Provincial Park campground guide

Description

Provides information for campers at Park Lake Provincial Park, located northwest of Lethbridge. Established in 1932, Park Lake is Alberta’s first provincial park. Park Lake is an irrigation reservoir and provides water for thousands of acres of farmland in southern Alberta. Along with surrounding wetlands and prairie, it provides a refuge for many migrating birds, habitat for breeding birds and other wildlife. Significant plant species are also found in the park. The guide includes a map of the park and surrounding area, and contacts for more information such as reserving campsites and learning about any active fire bans.
