Description

Activities specified in the Activities Designation Regulation under the Environmental Protection and Enhancement Act require an approval from Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development prior to their construction or operation. The Act outlines the application procedure necessary to apply for an approval with further detail provided in the Approvals and Registrations Procedure Regulation. The Regulation outlines the information and content that is required in an application in order to inform the decision whether to grant an approval.
