Sheep River Provincial Park and Bluerock Wildland Provincial Park management plan

Description

The Sheep River Provincial Park and Bluerock Wildland Provincial Park Management Plan provides a long-term vision and day-to-day guidance for stewardship of the two parks. Alberta’s Parks preserve representative examples of Alberta’s natural and cultural diversity while providing appropriate outdoor recreation, heritage appreciation and tourism opportunities. This plan, prepared within the context of existing legislation and regulations, outlines how resources will be protected as well as the type and extent of outdoor recreation and tourism opportunities, and the facilities and services to be delivered. The plan was prepared with stakeholder and public input and will be reviewed and revised periodically to reflect the current thinking of Albertans about how our natural and cultural heritage will be preserved for present and future generations.
