Description
The judicial stay of sexual assault charges arising from a case in Airdrie this past October has raised concern about the justice system, and, in particular, what should be done to better manage delays that lead to Askov applications. The review of the Airdrie case to examine process delays and determine what steps can be taken to strengthen the current system and prevent any recurrence of the Airdrie situation.
