Description

Snowmobiling in Alberta is not only a major recreational activity for Albertans it is also a major economic activity with far reaching economic impacts on the province, especially in many local rural areas with limited economic alternatives. This study was commissioned by Alberta Tourism, Parks and Recreation in partnership with the Alberta Snowmobile Association and conducted by Econometric Research Limited to assess the impact of snowmobiles expenditures on the economy of Alberta in 2009.
