Description

The Alberta government is responsible for ensuring that large-scale industrial and resource development projects do not adversely affect the province’s environmental quality. They do this by managing the provincial environmental assessment process which includes the review of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) reports prepared by project proponents. The purpose of this guide is to assist project proponents in the development and submission of EIA reports to the government.
