Description

A benthic invertebrate sampling program was carried out in the Milk River basin in the spring and fall, 1986, to document zoobenthic community composition prior to the river's impoundment. The potential impacts of an impoundment on the benthos downstream of the dam were also assessed, based on predicted changes in the physical and chemical components of the river environment.
