Description

Annually-updated information on the prevalence and spread of the gypsy moth in Alberta. Gypsy moth is one of the most serious introduced pests of tree species in Canada. While it prefers to feed on the leaves of oak trees, which are not native to Alberta's forests, it can also cause damage and kill other deciduous tree species.
