Provides detailed information on the economics of beekeeping in Alberta, specifically for honey production and pollination during the 2011 production year. Information presented in this report can be used for several purposes including preparation of feasibility studies, program evaluation and policy development for the honey/pollination industry. It can also assist individual study participants to compare their costs and returns with the group averages, to better develop and manage their operations.
