Description

The Commercial Tenancies Protection Regulation identifies the conditions and requirements for commercial premises and tenants to be eligible for protection under the Commercial Tenancies Protection Act. Commercial premises and tenants are eligible if the landlord has not applied for the Canada Emergency Commercial Rent Assistance (CECRA) program, tenants have experienced a substantial loss in revenue, or tenants were ordered to close under public health orders resulting from the state of public health emergency.
