Description
The School Fees Regulation sets out the requirements and limitations related to the fees that a school board is authorized to charge parents of students. The regulation requires school boards that are charging school fees to establish policies and procedures which address: consultation with parents, maintaining financial statements, identifying the need to charge the fees and the process to request a fee waiver or fee refund. In addition, boards must establish a fee schedule and publish their policies, procedures and fee schedule.
