Business Improvement Area Regulation

Description

This regulation outlines the processes that municipalities must undertake when establishing or disestablishing a business improvement area. The regulation also outlines the operating procedures that business improvements and their boards must follow during their operation. Business Improvement Areas are established by a municipality to improve, beautify or maintain property within an area; develop, improve or maintain public parking; or to promote an area as a business or shopping area.
