Home Warranty Insurance Regulation

Description

The Home Warranty Insurance Regulation governs the new home warranty insurance product sold by insurance companies. This regulation establishes the terms, conditions, exclusions and insurance coverage limits that must be a part of every new home warranty insurance contract. The New Home Buyer Protection Act came into effect in February 2014 and mandates new home warranties for all new homes built in Alberta by residential builders.
