Description
The Crown's Right of Recovery (President of Treasury Board and Minister of Finance) Regulation provides the calculation for the assessment factor to be charged on automobile insurance premiums written in a calendar year for the purposes of recovering health costs from insurers in accordance with Division 2 of Part I of the Crown’s Right of Recovery Act. The Regulation also establishes the date by which automobile insurers are required to pay the recovery amount to the Crown, the penalty for failing to pay on time, and the calculation of interest to be charged on an unpaid amount and penalty.
