Gift Card Regulation

Description

Establishes restrictions to protect consumers who purchase and use gift cards by ensuring the merchants disclose all restrictions on the use of the card in its packaging. This includes prohibiting the cards from expiring, eliminating gift card fees after to refuse to honour gift cards for purchases that are more or less than the specific amount on the card.
