Alberta Corporate Tax Regulation

Description

The Alberta Corporate Tax Regulation supports the administrative process for the collection, reporting and remittance of income tax by corporations with a permanent establishment in Alberta as set out in the Alberta Corporate Tax Act. The Regulation clarifies the calculation of taxable income earned in Alberta, prescribes leases and specifies rates for the purpose of the royalty tax credit, clarifies aspects of the Alberta Scientific Research and Experimental Development tax credit, provides for the Alberta Qualifying Environmental Trust tax credit, and prescribes the quarterly interest rates for the purposes of the Act.
