Description
This Regulation enhances safety on Alberta's roads by limiting the on-duty hours of the drivers of certain vehicle types, and by specifying the number of off-duty hours between shifts. The Regulation applies generally to buses and to vehicles having a gross weight of 11 794 kg or more and includes provisions exempting certain vehicles and activities from the Regulation’s application. The Regulation also articulates the specific recording obligations of drivers. The Regulation’s expiry date is March 15, 2025.
