Teachers' Pension Plans (Legislative Provisions) Regulation

Description

The Teachers’ Pension Plans (Legislative Provisions) Regulation sets out requirements pertaining to and the composition of the Alberta Teachers’ Retirement Fund board of trustees, the responsibilities and obligations of board members, procedures for establishing and amending pension plan rules, and reporting requirements. Other matters addressed include the payment of benefits after death and the division and distribution of benefits in the event of a relationship breakdown.
