Description

In 1981, a biological survey of Hardisty Creek was undertaken to assess the possible impacts of leachate from a discontinued bark pile on the water quality of the creek. Benthic invertebrate samples were obtained from locations above and below the bark pile to quantify the magnitude of instream changes.
