Edmonton nutritious food basket prices, an overview

Description

A nutritious food basket is a food-costing tool that is a measure of the cost of healthy eating based on current nutrition recommendations. The current Edmonton Nutritious Food Basket consists of 67 food items falling into 10 food groups which contribute similar nutrients to the diet. The food basket lists 22 age-gender groups and a reference family of four, and reports the weekly cost of reach food category as well as the total weekly cost.
