Description
The purpose of the survey is to continue to build upon a historical series of benchmark retail food prices, which have been collected in Edmonton since the early 1970s and in several communities across Alberta since 1996. The data series provide accurate, timely and reliable information on retail food prices for a specific basket of items, for use in business analysis and planning. The information is also used by clients in health promotion programs, and nutrition education and counseling services, etc.
