Description

In July 1988, Halfmoon Lake (Strathcona County) was treated with two forms of lime in an attempt to lower algal biomass and phosphorus concentrations. 58 tonne of CaCO3 and 49 Tonne of Ca (OH2) were added to the lake over a five-day period.
