Biophysical survey of the Coyote Lake District, Leduc County, Alberta

Description

A biophysical inventory of several contiguous land parcels adjacent to or near Coyote Lake, Leduc County, Alberta, was completed in 1987. The total area involved was 647.5 ha. The inventory included a description of the physical environment, which was based on a literature review; field identification analyses of vegetation types; an assessment of the mamma, bird, amphibian, reptile and fish fauna; vertebrate fauna; mapping of the vegetation types; photographs and documentation of rare species and new records of distribution; and recommendations for future studies.
