Description
Alberta is improving Albertan’s access to primary health care by changing how these services are organized, funded and delivered. The goal is to make it easier for Albertans to receive the health services they need at the right time, in the right place and from the right provider. This report describes some of the initiatives being undertaken to improve primary health care services in the province. It also looks at some the measures used to evaluate primary health care services and compares Alberta’s performance on these measures to the Canadian averages.
