Sexually transmitted infections (STI) surveillance report : Alberta - 1998 to 2002

Description

The numbers of notifiable sexually transmitted infections declined to a low in 1997 but have risen progressively in Alberta during 1998 to 2002. By 2002, sexually transmitted infections accounted for more than fifty percent of all reportable communicable diseases in Alberta. This report provides detailed statistics on incidence rates of the various sexually transmitted diseases in Alberta.
