This report describes the pattern of health services utilization of First Nations people in Alberta. Topics covered include demographic and epidemiological transitions, mental health, injuries, diabetes, respiratory disease and air quality, and reproductive health. Each topic is placed into a context consisting of existing knowledge derived from a western scientific perspective, quantitative data specific to Alberta an First Nations people living in Alberta, and lived experiences collected from an indigenous perspective.
