"The Survey of Albertans on Culture and Tourism is a province-wide telephone survey of adult Albertans conducted by the ministry of Culture and Tourism. The survey is undertaken by an independent research firm that conducts and collects 1,000 responses using a random sample stratified by age group, gender and geographic location to be representative of Alberta’s population.
Albertans are asked questions on topics such as the arts, volunteerism, heritage, tourism, recreation and participation in organized sport in the past year. Information which could identify specific individuals has been removed
Due to use of a random stratified sample, results are representative of the province as a whole. Regional breakdowns are not available.
