Usage Considerations

People waiting for services have completed an outcome plan and are waiting for PDD services to begin. They continue to work with their assigned caseworker and fall under the following two categories: Waiting for Services (PDD-eligible individuals who have completed an outcome plan but have not been prioritized for services); and Waiting for Services – No Service Provider (there is no service provider available in their area to address an individual’s particular needs). This most often relates to the person having highly complex needs, such as being a risk to themselves or others. PDD staff continue to support individuals wherever possible to explore service options and link them to community resources.
