The Office of the Public Guardian and Trustee (OPGT) assists people with a variety of services, information and resources in the areas of:
• Guardianship services.
• Trusteeship services.
• Capacity assessment information and court applications.
• Complaints about guardians, trustees, and agents.
• Advance planning.
The OGPT dataset provides an overview of referrals received and adults represented by the Public Guardian and Public Trustee, as well as information on the number of minors trusts and deceased estates administered by the Public Trustee.

All values represent the state of each program as of March 31st of each year. Note that the methodology used for this data has been refined over the years, as a result, this data differs from that reported in past annual reports.
With regard to minor's trusts, some clients may have multiple accounts open as they may receive more than one type of monies, the result of which are placed in their own types of trust accounts under the status of Minors Trust.
