Usage Considerations
The Contour dataset provides users with representation of elevations on the landscape for a majority of the province. See the Completeness Report in this metadata record for details regarding coverage. A contour is a line that provides the user with a measure of elevation above mean sea level. Each contour line represents the same elevation value along its entire length. The contour annotation is the text that defines the elevation of the contour line.
