Population of Alberta's Older Workers: In 2007, Alberta had the lowest proportion of older workers in Canada. The number of older workers in Alberta's working age population (WAP) grew by 48.4% between 1997 and 2007. In 2007, 43.5% of Alberta's WAP was older workers.
