Every two years, Alberta Advanced Education commissions a survey which is fielded to supervisors of employed graduates of publicly funded post-secondary institutions, to acquire information about the skills and knowledge of recent publicly funded post-secondary institution graduates and to what extent they match the types of skills and knowledge that employers require in employees. This report represents the results for employers of publicly funded post-secondary institution graduates of class 2019/2020.

Every two years, Advanced Education commissions a survey of post-secondary graduates called the Graduate Outcomes Survey, to collect information that is used to inform strategic planning and results reporting, both for the Province and for post-secondary institutions. The project also included the Employment Success Survey, which is fielded to supervisors of employed graduates, to acquire information about the skills and knowledge of recent graduates and to what extent they match the types of skills and knowledge that employers require in employees.

Every two years, Advanced Education commissions a survey of post-secondary graduates called the Graduate Outcomes Survey, to collect information that is used to inform strategic planning and results reporting by the Province and by post-secondary institutions. This report presents the findings of the survey of 2015-2016 academic year graduates from publicly funded post-secondary institutions, and 2016-2017 academic year graduates from private vocational training institutions. The report also includes findings of the second Employment Success Survey, which surveys supervisors of employed graduates of publicly funded post-secondary institutions, to acquire information about the skills and knowledge of recent publicly funded post-secondary institution graduates and to what extent they match the types of skills and knowledge that employers require in employees.
