The Sexual Violence Police Advisory Committee (SVPAC) of Alberta Public Safety and Emergency Services developed these cards for police services to distribute to victims of sexual violence. The cards affirm the rights of complainants to have their wishes respected at each stage of the criminal justice process and provide information about where to find supports and services in their community.

The card was developed by members of the Sexual Violence Police Advisory Committee, with input from Police, Victim Services and other relevant subject matter experts.
