Cette ressource fournit des renseignements et des idées pratiques pour: comprendre l'importance et identifier des stratégies pour renforcer des relations positives entre élève et adultes dans le milieu scolaire; guider la discussion, réfléchir à la pratique et établir un langage commun autour du concept du soutien relationnel dans les écoles et son potentiel pour améliorer la santé mentale et le bienêtre, ainsi que pour améliorer l'engagement et la réussite scolaire des élèves; et élaborer une compréhension commune des avantages et des composantes du soutien relationnel dans le cadre d'un solide continuum d’appuis et de services.

In 2021 Alberta's government re-introduced an enhanced Wellness, Resiliency and Partnerships (WRaP) program to help students with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) across the province reach their full potential. The specialized FASD supports embedded into the school's continuum of supports and services ensure students with FASD are able to get the most out of their school community through engagement, academic success and enhanced social, emotional and physical well-being. A key component of this continuum are relational-based supports as outlined in this resource.
