Description

This report presents statistical profiles for Alberta's 83 Provincial Electoral Divisions (PEDs), which are based on the electoral boundaries as defined by the Alberta Electoral Divisions Act, Chapter E-4.1, 2003. A PED is a territorial unit represented by an elected Member to serve in the Alberta Provincial Legislative Assembly. Data in this report have been specially tabulated from Statistics Canada's 2006 Census of Canada, by geographic allocation of Statistics Canada enumeration areas to PEDs.
