Ce document fournit des recommandations en matière de santé publique afin de soutenir les leadeurs des écoles et des autorités scolaires afin d’assurer un retour sécuritaire à l’apprentissage en classe en septembre 2020 en vertu du scénario 1 du Plan de retour en classe et de se protéger contre la COVID-19. Le 21 juillet, la ministre de l’Éducation a annoncé que le scénario 1 sera en place, c’est-à-dire un fonctionnement presque normal, avec des mesures sanitaires.

Ce plan de retour en classe du préscolaire à la 12e année fait partie de la stratégie de relance du gouvernement de l’Alberta qui a été annoncée le 30 avril 2020. Il envisage trois scénarios qui pourraient exister lorsque l’année scolaire 2020-2021 commencera en septembre. Le 21 juillet, la ministre de l’Éducation a annoncé que les écoles accueilleront les élèves selon le scénario 1 — fonctionnement presque normal, avec des mesures sanitaires.

This re-entry plan for Early Childhood Services to Grade 12 (ECS-12) is part of the Alberta government's relaunch strategy that was announced on April 30, 2020. It considers three scenarios that could exist when the 2020-2021 school year begins in September. The Minister of Education announced on July 21 that schools will welcome students under scenario 1 — near-normal daily operations with health measures. Update: November 2020 diploma exams will be optional due to COVID-19. More information on diploma exams is available at https://www.alberta.ca/diploma-exams.aspx.
