One of the surgical treatment options for prostate cancer is robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy (RALP). This resource summarizes the findings of a review of research on the efficacy of RALP as a treatment option for early-stage prostate cancer.

Prostate cancer is the most common non-skin cancer and the third leading cause of cancer-related deaths in Canadian men. One of the surgical treatment options for prostate cancer is robot-assisted laparoscopic prostatectomy (RALP). This report summarizes the findings and conclusions of a systematic review of the safety and effectiveness of RALP for the treatment of early-stage prostate cancer.
