As per Section 11 of the Exploration Regulation (AR 284/2006), no person shall conduct exploration, operate a type of energy source, conduct a method of exploration, etc., in any area of Alberta in which exploration is prohibited or restricted except in accordance with the conditions of the exploration directive.
